I ordered a beef rendang, and anyone who knows how to cook understands that rendang is supposed to be thick, rich, and slow-cooked ,not watery like a curry soup. What I was served was completely wrong and very disappointing.

This restaurant is our must go to whenever we visit Genting Highlands and since the food presentation and taste have been quite consistent throughout the years, I think I would like to share my thoughts here.

1st time dine in...Order char kwe tiao, turn out too oily. The snack platter was bit pricey with average taste. the only good was the porridge, generous portion and filling. The service was bit slow, more to improve.

On the picture they have put fried chicken but they served curry chicken. When we asked they said thats what Randang chicken means. Not all customers the name of the dish. Totally misleading the clients with the pictures. When we questioned answer was also not professional. Food was mediocre at best. Do not visit.

We had the fried Kuey teow, mee siam, curry laksa, Nyonya Ying Yong and Fish all noodle. They were all delicious and the portioning is fairly big and value for money.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Our food was mistakenly served to the table right next to us, and the waiter didn't even bother to verify the order before leaving it there.

Probably the greatest thing about the restaurant is its reasonably affordable price and fast service. We had nasi lemak, roti jala and mee siam for a light meal. Portion of nasi lemak is small, and overcooked fried egg, with curry chicken.
