Fan Kai Jie, the Mandopop writer most people still call Ge Bi Lao Fan, plays Arena of Stars on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 6pm. Official title: Fluidity, Malaysia stop. Resorts World Genting's page lists VIP RM588, PS1 RM488, PS2 RM388, PS3 RM288, PS4 RM188, plus RM4 processing. A 25 percent early bird sat on VIP to PS3. The same page now stamps SOLD OUT. If you do not already have a seat, stop refreshing. Scalpers are not an official channel. RWG says resold tickets can be cancelled.
The set list he is selling includes "我曾", "多想在平庸的生活拥抱你", "你的姑娘", and "这一生关于你的风景". He came up after 2018 with ballads that live on late-night playlists, not dance drops. Expect a band, quiet stretches, and a hall of phone lights. Doors matter. The show starts at 6pm sharp. Late entry waits for a break. Every person needs a ticket, including infants. Children under 95 cm can use a RM50 no-seat child rate. Taller kids pay the map.
The cable cars are the real planning problem
Read the advisory on the same Genting domain. Genting SkyWay is closed for maintenance 5 to 9 October 2026. Awana SkyWay is closed 12 to 16 October. Concert night, 10 October, sits between those two closures. SkyWay should be back on the 10th if the notice holds. Do not cut it fine on the 9th. If you overnight on the 9th, you may still be dealing with the last day of the SkyWay shutdown. Road up Gohtong Jaya is the fallback. Awana SkyWay's later closure does not hit concert night, but it does hit anyone staying through the following week.
Arena of Stars is inside the hilltop resort, not at Awana. Hotel plus show is the sane package if you already hold tickets. First World and the newer SkyWorlds Hotel are the usual overflow. Book the hill, not a KL hotel with a 4am drive. No cameras, no iPads, no video. That rule is on the ticket page in capital letters and they do enforce it.
Who this night is for
If you know the songs, this is the Genting date. If you wanted Sunset by NEON or the lion dance weekend in late September, those are different halls and different crowds. October 10 is a ballad night in a 6,000-seat room that Genting uses for Mandopop. PS4 at RM188 was the only category without early bird. It is also the furthest from the stage. For this artist, sound in the middle of PS2/PS3 is the better spend if you had bought in time.
Official sales were rwgenting.com and the authorised list on that site. Collection on the day needs the cardholder or a letter, IC, and card copy. Third-party pickup without papers gets turned away. I would not travel from KL on speculation. I would still check SkyWay status the morning of 10 October before I left the car at Awana.
